Höganäs mugg

Kristina Stark's design language is deeply rooted in her hometown of Kullabygden, and she has long had a strong desire to work with the traditional salt-glazed stoneware from Höganäs.

The mug is the beginning of a collaboration between a ceramicist and a designer, where the idea is to carry this cultural heritage forward into the future. The hand-turned mug has a generous shape with an ear that is designed to be comfortable and stable and feel good in the hand. The characteristic brown salt glaze shifts to light or dark depending on the different conditions during each specific firing. Each mug thus gets a unique and very own expression.

The mug is produced and sold only under Kristina's own brand.
